Used it fist day ...had to take the rear axle nuts off my VW..worked like a charm..9 to 1 tork ratio

Sturdy and well built. Use it with the flywheel locking tool and you will have the glan nut off in no time. Great tool.

Actually bought this one for my niece's husband who is a VW enthusiast, but still doing things the hard way. I bought one years ago, works great for both the gland nut and axle nuts.
At 9 to 1 multiplication, you only need to put in about 30 lb ft to properly torque the gland nut or rear axle nut. Best feature is that it is reversing the torque as you use it. So more fighting to hold the engine down, while fighting a long torque wrench. One person can easily do the job now.
I have even machined an adapter and use it on my original Rover Mini for its axle bolts.
