ESSENTIAL TOOLS (Continued)

Filler Nut Removal Tool - If you've ever tried to get the oil filler removed from the generator stand you know it almost impossible without this tool. A ratchet and 3/8" extension is used with this tool to remove the attachment bolt from down in the filler tube.
Flywheel Lock - This bolts to the engine case bell housing and locks into the flywheel teeth. This is used to hold the crankshaft stationary so you can remove the gland nut.
Crankshaft Gear Puller - This tool pulls the cam gear off the crankshaft and is required when replacing the main bearings.
Lifter Clips - These handy clips hold the lifters in their bores when assembling a short block.
Oil Pump Puller - Oil pumps can be really tough to get out of the engine case once they are installed. This tool makes the removal a straightforward affair.
Piston Ring Compressor - The rings can be tough to get fully compressed prior to cylinder installation. This tool compresses all three rings at once and significantly reduces the risk of breaking a ring.
Crankshaft Seal Installer - An improperly installed crank seal is one of the primary causes of oil leaks. This tool evenly presses in the seal using the gland nut threads.
