ENGINE CALCULATOR

Use the calculator below to determine the critical dimensions for you engine's displacment and compression ratio. If you're not sure how much deck height you need in order to achieve your desired compression ratio, or how much volume you'll need in the combustion chambers, this will tell you. Included is a metric conversion calculator is you need to convert your figures.

To use the calculator, lets say you are building a 2110 stroker engine and you want a compression ratio of 8.5:1. You would start off by entering the known variables. Bore: 90.5mm, Stroke: 82mm, Deck Height: .060", and Head CC of 56. The one unknown variable is the Deck Height. Click the Deck Height button and the calculator will provide you with .088 indicating that you will need to space your cylinders out to a deck height of .088" to achieve the desired compression ratio.
